Stuart, a chartered accountant, co-founded the Push group in 2012, following a 6 month, 2MW, learning curve in small scale FIT based Solar. The Push Group has grown to 35 employees and has successfully achieved planning permission on 153MW of solar. It was a personal ambition that led to Push Build becoming an EPC, successfully connecting 116.4MW of solar plants costing £100m. Stuart continues to lead business development and strategy as the group looks to diversify its activities beyond solar.
Tom has developed a diversified property portfolio based around his farming assets in Hertfordshire. He has significant experience of the planning framework and has a number of renewable energy developments within this portfolio, including a biomass community heating scheme and a number of solar PV arrays. Tom co-founded the Push group and owns two of the initial sites - Wisbridge and Croydon solar farms. Tom is also a director of the AtlasFram farmer co-operative.
Lee is a qualified chartered accountant who spent the first 15 years of his career in accountancy practice before taking the role of FD at Push Energy. Lee was a Director at Deloitte in their Entrepreneurial Business and Private Markets teams dealing with growing clients across a variety of industries. Lee is also Vice-chairman and Treasurer at the Institute of Directors for Cambridgeshire and a Trustee and Director of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
Drummond has 14 years of international sales and business development experience in the maritime industry covering Europe, the America’s and Australasia. Drummond joined Push Energy in 2013 and has been part of the management team responsible for the portfolio of assets delivered within the 1.4 ROC year. He is also the lead in the Operations and Maintenance division of the business.
Will is an engineering graduate and a Chartered Environmentalist who has had an interest in renewables and energy conservation for many years. He has nearly 20 years commercial experience, having held a number of senior posts in banking and legal IT in the City, most recently running the portfolio of technical projects at the global law firm Linklaters LLP. Four years ago he set up the UK’s first community owned solar co-operative, Green Energy Nayland, for which he is still a Director.
Jordan is a successful residential property developer with knowledge of managing multiple construction sites, employees and subcontractors, whilst overseeing the critical path of a project to ensure that this meets quality and time deadlines. Jordan has used this skill across the 92MW of Push Build sites delivered in the 1.4 ROC year. Jordan is looking for opportunities for residential developments at Push to supplement the work performed in the subsidy driven renewable industry.
Jamie has 20 years of experience working for architectural practices and developers. Jamie’s portfolio of work undertaken includes large scale retail for major food retailers, urban regeneration, office and residential developments. Over the past 3 years Jamie has mainly worked in the solar PV sector leading the planning team at Push Energy which oversees the submission of all planning applications. All sites are designed with the construction process in mind from the outset as a result of the close liaison with the build department.
